Fourm 2:Unique Features of Residency and Attending Physician Training in the United States

Chaired by Dr. Tzu-Yu Lin, Chair of the Committee on Specialist Training Hospitals and Accreditation, and Dr. Chih-Peng Lin, Chair of the Specialist Examination Committee, this forum features three young anesthesiologists from the United States: Dr. Arthur Chyan (UCSF), Dr. Angela Chang (Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Los Angeles), and Dr. Yu-Hsuan Lee, completing her training at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

The session will highlight the training system, clinical education structure, and professional development of anesthesiologists in the U.S., comparing these with Taiwan’s model. Through first-hand experience sharing and discussion, the forum aims to broaden international perspectives and provide valuable insights for anesthesiologists interested in global training opportunities and professional growth.
